First Spanish property for Tui Blue hotel concept

A new authentic hotel brand created by Tui is to be extended into Spain following the first opening in the Canary Islands later this year.

The Tui Blue concept, which reflect local architecture and focus on fitness, food and wellbeing, made its debut in May with two properties in Turkey.

Three other hotels were then announced in Austria, Germany and Italy, with the Tui Blue Jardin Tropical set to open in Tenerife in November by converting the former Puravida Resort Jardin Tropical on the largest Canary Island.

The company confirmed that the new brand will then be expanded into other parts of Spain.

The Tui Blue Jardin Tropical will offer modern architecture, regional and balanced cuisine, innovative technology and individual services by dedicated guides.

The Moorish style 390-room hotel is located on Costa Adeje, with four swimming pools and free Wi-Fi across the resort.

Tui Blue managing director, Artur Gerber, said: “I am delighted that our efforts for global growth are bearing fruit and we are able to offer our customers the Tui Blue Jardin Tropical.”
