Earlier this year we launched a competition with Insight Vacations to find two agents to win an incredible prize.
The prize, which is worth £5,000 per agent, has seen two agents crowned Insight Luxury Gold agents, with both visited by Insight sales director Paul Melinis for personal training and congratulations.
The prize includes touring expertise, monthly sales support, a £1,500 marketing fund, a seat on the Insight Vacations table at the Agent Achievement Awards and a place on a Luxury Gold fam trip this summer.
Huge numbers of agents put their names forward to win this great prize. But today we can introduce you to the second of our winners.
The first was Elaine Hennessey, senior sales consultant at Midcounties Co-operative Travel in Worcester.
The second winner is Tanya Haigh of JNT Destinations in Huddersfield.
Tanya said: “I found the visit from Insight Vacations very interesting indeed. I had actually met them at a conference earlier this year and thought their product was among the best I have seen.
“Escorted touring has been on the radar but we’ve not done a lot of it in the past. But it’s clear that it is a great way to see a destination and in many ways better than cruise for having interesting cultural experiences.
“Having looked at the Insight Gold product I can see the experiences you get really are very special.
“I’ve already spoken to a few customers about it, those who are a little older and have more time on their hands and who enjoy cultural experiences and they seem to be really interested.
“The marketing money couldn’t have come at a better time as I’ve recently opened a shop in an area I don’t know that well so it’s a great chance to get to know some local people. We’re going to hold it at the local golf club.
“I’m really looking forward to the fam trip too as there’s no doubt that when I’ve experienced something I sell a lot more of it.”
Aspire will be sharing Tanya’s experiences on the Insight Gold fam trip later in the year.
