EasyJet Holidays unveils £60 low deposit scheme

A £60 low deposit scheme has been introduced by easyJet Holidays.

Final balance payments are due 45 days before the holiday starts, giving consumers longer to save to get away than the traditional 12 or 14 week period before departure.

The initiative covers people booking a trip at almost 40,000 hotels at 1,600 resorts across 31 countries before the end of March 2017.

If for any reason they need to cancel the booking before the balance payment is due, they will only lose their deposit and will not be expected to make further payments, according to the company.

EasyJet Holidays general manager Mandy Round said: “It’s a double win for anyone planning a half term getaway or winter sun break. Whether they are heading for one of the more traditional destinations on the Spanish Costas or plan to explore an emerging destination such as Montenegro, it is now easier than ever to clinch the best deals.

“Booking with easyJet Holidays means they can book earlier and secure the holiday of their choice at the very best price with a deposit of just £60 per person, then keep the money in their own bank account until 45 days before departure.”
