Earlier this year we launched a competition with Insight Vacations to find two agents to win an incredible prize. The prize, which is worth £5,000 per agent, has seen two agents crowned Insight Luxury Gold agents, with both visited by Insight sales director Paul Melinis for personal training and congratulations. The prize includes touring expertise, monthly sales support, a £1,500 marketing fund, a seat on the Insight Vacations table at the Agent Achievement Awards and a place on a Luxury Gold fam trip this summer.
Huge numbers of agents put their names forward to win this great prize. But today we can introduce you to the first of our winners: Elaine Hennessey, senior sales consultant at Midcounties Co-operative Travel in Worcester. Elaine is pictured (second left) with her team and Paul Melinis (left).
She said: “I entered this competition because I am very well-travelled, but in the past have not been interested in touring. I felt maybe it was either too structured or at the other end of the scale, for example, adventure touring.
“The Insight Luxury Gold competition caught my eye because I felt it was something different and as I learn more about it, this type of touring would really suit me. I am very excited about the brand, and have already sold an £8,000 tour within a few days of Paul’s training. I am looking forward to using my role as Insight Gold Luxury Agent to bring a lot of business to Midcounties Worcester.”
Melinis said: “I am delighted that Elaine and her team qualified as Insight’s Luxury Gold Southern Aspire Agent 2016. After spending the day with the team, I feel they really have the potential to sell our product as they have the perfect clientele and a great location. All the team are forward-thinking, engaged and excited about selling more Insight journeys and especially Luxury Gold.”
