Data firm Storetraffic.com has put together a ‘storymap’ detailing the figures and facts behind the world’s eight busiest airports.
Hartfield-Jackson Atlanta International in the United States tops the traffic rankings with over 101 million people passing through the airport in 2015.
London Heathrow dropped from its 2014 position of third to become the world’s sixth most busiest airport last year, with just under 75 million passengers recorded.
