Lowcostbeds appoints Andrew Nicholson to UK role

Andrew Nicholson is to lead an expansion drive by bedbank Lowcostbeds in the UK.

He has been named as UK business development director as part of a “focus and commitment” to the UK as a source market.

Nicholson joins from French travel technology software provider Orchestra Technology, where he held a similar role. He was previously managing director of TravelTainment and has more than 20 years experience in the travel industry.

Chief executive, Paul Evans, said: “We are delighted to welcome Andrew to lowcostbeds to help us maintain our competitive position and grow market share in the UK.  

“The UK remains the largest source market for lowcostbeds and we are committed to its growth.  

“Andrew is a highly respected figure in the UK travel sector who has built and managed successful businesses and is a valuable addition to our experienced team.”

Nicholson added: “I am looking forward to working with the lowcostbeds team in the UK to drive profitable growth for not only the lowcosttravel business, but all our UK partners too. 

“We want to try to maximise every opportunity we can with service, price, efficiency and process to make our partners' lives simpler when they entrust us with their business.”
