Payment services provider Paysafe wants to expand further into the travel industry and provide a “one stop shop” for retailers.
The business, which operates across more than 40 currencies, specialises in ‘card not present’ e-commerce transactions for European, North American and Asian businesses.
Simon Chandramani, head of sales payment processing in Europe, said both bricks-and-mortar and online retail had been impacted by the evolving payments landscape in recent years.
“Our message to the trade is we will look at each company on an individual basis to offer bespoke proposals and not necessarily a one-size-fits-all approach,” he said.
“Our approach is to create a one-stop-shop for the businesses we work with so they can have a single point of integration to our payments product suite. We are large but really understand the importance of customer service.”
Paysafe’s payment gateway (the service that authorises credit card payments) and processing engine help businesses like tour operators, call centre-focused travel firms and online travel sites to accept and process payments “simply, flexibly and knowledgeably”.
As a principal member of MasterCard Europe and Visa Europe, Paysafe is an acquirer as well as a payment gateway.
The group offers multiple products and merchant onboarding services (setting retailers up to be able to use them), with customisation and real-time analytics and reporting.
Paysafe also prides itself on its “dedication to keeping data safe”.
It manages PCI Compliance and has fully-customisable risk management functionality within its gateway to minimise fraud exposure and liability.
