Southall Travel has been named ‘Asian Business of the Year’ at the Asian Business Awards.
Chief executive Kuljinder Bahia collected the award at the prestigious annual event in London, which celebrates the successes of entrepreneurs from the Asian community.
During the ceremony the Asian Rich List was also announced, with Bahia named the 19th richest Asian in Britain with a value of £400 million.
The company was also recognised as a business with a vision for growth, with strong leadership, professional management and talent development at all levels.
Bahia, who picked up the award from employment minister Priti Patel, said: “We are delighted to have won this prestigious award and I would like to take this opportunity to thank every member of my team for making this possible.”
