Monarch to go on the road to promote careers in travel

Monarch Group is poised to go on the road around the UK to promote the varied careers on offer in travel and leisure.

The firm has launched a new careers website to support its attendance at a series of recruitment fairs up and down the country.

Monarch says it has a variety of vacancies across its divisions including outside of the typical cabin crew and pilot roles association with airlines.

Among the areas it is looking to recruit for at its five UK bases are ground services, operational support in engineering, IT, HR and marketing.

A full list of opportunities are included on Monarch’s new careers site, careers.monarch.co.uk

Pauline Prow, chief people officer at Monarch, said: “The new website has been designed to be easily navigated and is packed with information about the variety of rewarding roles in this interesting sector.

“There are so many different skills required to ensure the airline, tour operator and engineering division operate at the highest level. Whatever your skill set or passion it’s guaranteed that you will be welcomed into a challenging and dynamic team.”

Potential candidates have been invited to meet representatives from Monarch at the following local recruitment events:

  • Saturday 20th February 2016 – Cabin Crew open day – Monarch Training Centre, Luton;
