Melanie Quinn has joined former Etihad Airways colleague Clive Wratten at regional business travel company CTI.
Quinn becomes client management director at travel management company’s Manchester base following almost five years as northern sales manager for the UAE carrier.
Working alongside CTI chief executive Wratten – ex-Etihad UK general manager – Quinn will be part of the senior management team, responsible for developing client partnerships and customer service.
Quinn has experience of building a strong account management team at Etihad, increasing revenues from the region to £38 million and delivering the business plan for Etihad’s newest UK route from Edinburgh.
Prior to this, she moved from BMI in London to be northern corporate account manager for SAS, managing its largest UK corporate account.
Quinn said: “I am very excited to be joining the CTI team, a trusted and reputable travel partner for business. With my background in managing both local and global contracts with SAS and the Star Alliance, I look forward to my experience playing a role in the company.”
