MSC Cruises launches agent mega-fam competition

A competition for agents to win 50 places on a mega-fam next April forms part of MSC Cruises peak ‘wave’ season campaign.

The line is giving free drinks away for most summer 2016 and winter 2016/17 itineraries as part of a turn-of-year sale – which runs from December 15 until February 29.

The ‘Allegrissimo’ package – normally costing £22 per person per night and £10 for children – includes unlimited drinks, such as cocktails, a selection of wines by the glass, draught beer, soft drinks, milkshakes, smoothies and fruit juices. It also coffee and gelato.

MSC Cruises executive director UK & Ireland, Giles Hawke, said: “We’ve dubbed our wave campaign ‘The Best All-Inclusive at Sea’ because we are confident our standard ‘Allegrissimo’ package beats rival offerings hands down.

“By giving it free to all guests we are underlining our reputation for great value – and are certain it will win us even more fans.

“We want agents to compare it to other lines. We don’t mess around with non-branded drinks and have silly restrictions. Guests get the very best products all the time.”

As part of the Wave campaign, agents can win one of 50 places on The mega-fam for agents is on a seven-night western Mediterranean sailing from Genoa on MSC Preziosa departing April 23, 2016, with all-inclusive drinks included.

To enter agents should send details of Wave period bookings to and include their name, agency details and booking number. Fam places will be drawn from entries each week.
