Celebrity Cruises’ ship Celebrity Eclipse is returning to the UK in 2017 for its seventh consecutive summer season of cruises from Southampton.
More overnight stays in port and itineraries that feature special events such as the Roland-Garros French Open tennis tournament are featured.
New ports of call for the ship, which was launched in Southampton in 2010 and refurbished earlier this year, include the walled Danish city of Frederica.
Extended overnight calls are planned for Lisbon and Funchal in Madeira in addition to St Petersburg, Copenhagen and Reykjavik.
The ship’s summer 2017 sailings include itineraries to Scandinavia and Russia, including one featuring Frederica; Iceland; the Canary Islands; the Azores and Mediterranean.
A ten-night Spain and Canaries cruise including an overnight stay in Funchal and calls in Tenerife and La Coruna, Spain starts at £1,799 per person based on two sharing Concierge Class accommodation.
The cruises go on general sale from Friday (November 20).
