A record 1.1 million seats have been made available by Norwegian on flights to and from the UK next summer.
More than 6,000 flights from Gatwick, Manchester, Edinburgh and Birmingham to 34 destinations across Europe and the US have gone on sale – a rise of 5% over this year’s peak period.
Bookings have opened for travel between August 15 and October 30, 2016 with one-way fares starting at £34.90 to Barcelona from Gatwick and £149 to Boston.
Destinations expected to be popular for the summer holidays and October school half-term include Boston, Orlando and the Canary Islands.
Chief commercial officer, Thomas Ramdahl, said: “Next summer is set to be Norwegian’s biggest ever in the UK as our free Wi-Fi and unique low-cost services to America continue to attract record numbers of passengers.
"We expect to see demand for the Canary Islands continue to grow in 2016 as well as key Spanish destinations such as Alicante and Barcelona.
“Further afield Norwegian will be launching four flights per week to Boston and Orlando will return to the schedule for summer."
