Regent Seven Seas appoints new marketing chief

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has recruited a new marketing chief from outside the travel industry.

Caroline Weaver takes the role of Europe, Middle East and Africa head of marketing for the luxury line.

She was previously head of product and marketing at greeting card business Gemma International.

Weaver reports to EMEA managing director, Graham Sadler, and will be responsible for managing the entire marketing function, across both the UK and Europe.

Sadler said: “We are delighted to have Caroline join the team and fill this crucial role.

“She has an outstanding track record of success and demonstrated great skill in strategic marketing and creative flair.

“With her experience and determination, I am confident Caroline will make a significant contribution to growing the brand and strategic direction of Regent Seven Seas Cruises as the most inclusive luxury cruise experience.”

Weaver said: “I am thrilled to be joining such a luxurious brand and am looking forward to utilising my experience to ensure Regent’s aggressive marketing and growth objectives are achieved.”
