A high-tech travel hyperstore has been opened by Flight Centre in Chester, based on the agency’s store in Madison Square, New York.
Features include LCD screens and interactive displays which have been designed to enhance the holiday shopping experience and inspire customers to travel to top destinations.
The new hyperstore features air fare sales, tailor-made travel experiences and beach and city getaways.
The company’s stand-alone brands are also represented, including Flight Centre First and Business; Round the World Experts; Gapyear.com and Flight Centre Business Travel.
Flight Centre UK retail managing director, Alison Zacher, said: “Our Chester hyperstore will serve as a hub where customers can experience our travel products and benefit from one-to-one support from our dedicated travel experts.
“The store has been designed in a way that allows us to showcase our specialist businesses to customers and will incorporate new features that create a more exciting retail environment.
“These features will include dedicated product zones, digital signage and various tools that will allow us to assist customers to fine-tune their travel plans.”
