Over-50s specialist Saga is to join the Truly Independent Professional Travel Organisation after less than a year of selling through the trade.
The 63-year-old company, which only began selling its holidays through travel agents last October, becomes a member of trade networking and marketing association Tipto from September.
Agency sales manager, Sharon Moore, said: “By joining Tipto we now have the opportunity to meet agents personally at the road show events and forge lasting relationships that allow us to work closely with the trade.
“The events ensure we regularly engage with agents, educating them face to face on our key selling points and updating their product knowledge so that they are fully equipped to sell Saga holidays.”
Tipto chairman, Zena Hill, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Saga into the Tipto network. We will celebrate our 17th year from September and we’re proud to continue to see growth in members.”
