A new, all-inclusive pricing policy is being adopted by Celebrity Cruises on selected sailings from the autumn.
Regular extras such as alcoholic drinks and Wi-Fi access will be included as part of the price, depending on the cabin category booked.
A booking for ocean-view accommodation includes a classic drinks package of house beers, wines, cocktails and soft drinks.
Onboard spend of $300 is added to balcony cabin bookings, while free Wi-Fi and premium-branded drinks are included with AquaClass or suite accommodation worth more than $299 each.
The new all-inclusive packages are available on Mediterranean cruises this autumn; the Caribbean, Asia and South America in winter 2015; and summer 2016 in Europe, Alaska and Bermuda.
A ten-night western Mediterranean fly/cruise – with charter flights from Stansted’s private jet terminal – departing on April 29, 2016, costs £1,499 per person for balcony accommodation aboard Celebrity Equinox.
The price includes $300 onboard spending money and a classic drinks package covering house beers, wines, spirits and cocktails. It also includes a £400 discount per cabin for bookings made before September 1.
