A new series of global networking events focused on the MICE market has been launched by the team behind Connections Luxury.
Connections Meetings will follow a similar format to Connections Luxury, with personally invited buyers and sellers in the MICE sector given the opportunity to develop business relationship in exclusive environments.
Previous Connections Luxury events have taken place at the Four Seasons hotel in Hampshire and the Conrad Algarve hotel in Portugal, with delegates taking part in unique experiences and hearing from international keynote speakers.
Connections Luxury and Connections Meetings both form part of the Travel Weekly Group portfolio.
Micaela Giacobbe, director of commercial events at Connections, said: “Connections involves just 30-40 meeting owners and planners from key and growing markets across the globe and 30-40 selected suppliers.
“We are delighted to be extending the highly successful Connections Luxury format to the MICE sector, and look forward to helping senior MICE buyers and executives build effective and long-lasting relationships.”
The first Connections Meetings event will take place at the Conrad Algarve between December 9-11, with further events planned for Latin America and Spain in 2016.
The next Connections Luxury events take place in Abu Dhabi and Beijing, with Italy, Thailand, Brazil and the Middle East scheduled to host events next year.
