Clia UK & Ireland is launching two exciting initiatives to encourage more agents to start selling cruise.
The cruise association has partnered with Travel Weekly on the two schemes that are open to agencies keen to push their cruise business further with the help of Clia.
“With so many new ships launching this year and with more ships on order, it is extremely important to the cruise industry that we bring more people into the market,” said Andy Harmer, director of Clia.
“We need to get more people cruising and a big part of that will be through getting more agents to realise the earning potential in cruise and to start selling more cruise holidays.
“These two initiatives will help to get more agents thinking about cruise.”
The first scheme is Take the Clia Cruise Challenge and that is currently open to Advantage agents. The second is an opportunity for agents to win the new Clia New-to-Cruise Award at this year’s Travel Weekly Agent Achievement Awards.
