British Airways launches film to promote Kuala Lumpur route

British Airways has released a three-minute video to promote its new flights between Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur, starting from May 27, 2015.

The video, created by content marketing agency Cedar, features advice on Kuala Lumpur from Antony Lee, chief executive of AIG Malaysia, Cheryl Yeoh, a local start-up entrepreneur, Tan Kee Keat, an architect, chef Christian Bauer and restaurateur Eddie Chew.

They share their thoughts on orientating the city, communicating in business meetings, new developments in the city and what to do after hours.

British Airways’ head of marketing, retail and direct, Sara Dunham, said: “When we launch a new route, it is always a voyage of discovery, from seeking out the best local hotels, to deciding when business and leisure travellers would like to arrive and depart – we take understanding the cities we fly to, very seriously.

“We know insider knowledge is also important to our customers, which is why giving them useful tips to help them understand every aspect of a new destination, is the best way of helping them step off our aircraft with confidence.”

The video will launch on British Airways flights globally this week, and will be screened on flights from February 19.
