Singapore Airlines general manager UK and Ireland Paul Tan is leaving to run subsidiary airline Silkair in Singapore. His replacement will be Vijendran Alfreds who will take over the position at the end of July.

David Cox has joined Europcar’s management team as sales director. He joins from Countrywide Contract Motoring where he was managing director and has also worked at GE Capital Fleet Services.

Sterling Travel Insurance Services has recruited Stuart Dixon as account manager for Scotland. He joins from Bridge Travel Group where he was a sales executive.

Worldspan has appointed two new account executives and two new sales executives. Maureen Barrett, joining from KLMUK and Raymond McErlaine, joining from Airsavers/Carlson Worldchoice are the new account executives. The new sales executives are Sue Linwood, who joins from Sealandair Travel and Shelly Prior, who joins from New Frontiers Recruitment Agency.

Accor UK Economy Hotels has recruited Stephanie Versin as marketing manager, where she will be responsible for marketing and communications for Accor and Ibis. She previously worked for Air France.
