Carrier and Onefinestay join forces

Luxury operator Carrier Travel has signed an exclusive deal with premium private property rental site Onefinestay to package up holidays including top-end homes.

Carrier managing director Steve Kimber said: “We’re going to promote their properties to our customers; put them together with flights and sell them as package. Onefinestay doesn’t do this with anybody else.

“They have superstars’ homes on their books in London, Paris, New York and Los Angeles – they are really high end and will give our customers the chance to stay in unique private accommodation when the owner is out of town with hotel managed facilities, like fresh towels and toiletries from the likes of Kiehl’s and L’Occitane – and the use of an iPhone for the duration of their stay,” he said.

“Compared to hotel rooms, their homes are spacious, characterful and good value. Guests have their own front door, there is an added level of privacy and security, but most of all their homes deliver something for the insatiably curious, a truly unique experience and the opportunity to live in luxury – like a local,” continued Kimber.

Kimber said there would be double page spread in the Carrier brochure about the Onefinestay partnership and told Travel Weekly the Onefinestay deal was one of many partnerships it is seeking to establish in order to grow its business.

“We can’t move forward just taking on the next new hotel that opens, so we are looking at a range of partnerships and affiliations. We have started to look above and beyond what we’ve traditionally done and asked ourselves what else our customers are interested in,” he said.

Kimber has indentified designer brands in luggage, clothing and travel experiences which it is hoping to work with to grow its customer database.
