I was very sorry to read that the correspondent from mid-Wales experienced difficulties contacting the new Qualiflyer Customer Care Centre (QCCC) (Travel Weekly, July 12).
The QCCC is a new and exciting development that pools the resources of the eleven member airlines of the Qualiflyer Group. The QCCC relies on leading-edge call centre technology, longer opening hours and specially trained, multi-lingual staff to provide an unparalleled service to trade and consumer customers alike.
Inevitably with a project of this scale, there were bound to be teething problems. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused to the correspondent and would like to reassure them that the QCCC is now running without a hitch.
I would also like to point out that there is a designated telephone number for trade enquiries (0870 6001204) with extended opening hours from 7am to 10pm, seven days a week.
