LONG-HAUL operator Air- waves is introducing its first dedicated Far East brochure early next month.
The operator will attempt to move itself further upmarket by discarding properties at the lower end of the price range.
Director Roger Craggs said: “We will be featuring fewer properties in the brochure and giving those that remain a higher profile.” He said Airwaves is concentrating on properties rated four star and higher.
The new programme also features more product range in Japan in response to demand for the destination. Craggs said: “Our sales for Japan, although still small, have gone through the roof over the last year because it has become much more affordable.”
