SABRE has introduced a new version of its high-volume and specialist agency product Turbo Sabre.
Turbo Sabre is the Windows version of Sabre’s global distribution system. It was created to help agents who do not know complex GDS codes. Its pop-down menus and programmed key strokes are popular with younger agents as they are quick and don’t require years of experience to use.
New features include making more use of the sales promotion tool Promospots, which provides agents with details of promotional offers relevant to the customer’s itinerary as they are booking it. Previously on Turbo Sabre the agent would have search through the software to check out what Promospots were on offer but now they will appear automatically.
