To celebrate the sixth National Cruise Week, Fred Olsen Cruise Lines are offering a ‘20% : £20’ incentive, with agents taking bookings during the week benefiting from an enhanced commission rate of 20%. MSC Cruises is celebrating the week by offering free drink packages for any 2013/14 bookings. The package offered depends on the cabin booked. Hurtigruten already has early booking discounts of up to 25% off 2013 and 2014 bookings but is offering an additional 5% off for bookings made during cruise week. Agents will also receive a free limited edition brand apron. In addition, Hurtigruten is giving away three £50 shopping vouchers to agents who enter their competition. The competition embraces the tea party theme set for cruise week and the company is asking agents to re-name the Hurtigruten ships with a culinary theme (for example MS Trufflefjord for the MS Trollfjord and MS Richtea With for Richard With).
