Seaworld is to mark its 50th anniversary with an 18-month Sea of Surprises celebration.
The campaign will take place across the company’s three Seaworld parks in Orlando, San Diego and San Antonio from March 21, 2014.
It will include new shows, entertainment and animal encounters in addition to a “surprise squad” which will select visitors at random to enjoy unique experiences such as behind the scenes tours with animal trainers.
The squad will also hand out merchandise and extras such as reserved show seating, and will be supported by “spontaneous” entertainment around the parks.
The Sea of Surprises celebration was unveiled at the IPW 2013 trade show in Las Vegas on Tuesday.
