The Global Travel Group claims to be raising industry standards by encouraging consumers to rate the service of member agents.
Online customer feedback platform Feefo is being employed by the 400-strong member consortium to attract feedback on holidays and the service provided.
As well as being displayed publicly on the Feefo site, agents can integrate the service and customer comments into their own websites.
The service also offers enhanced search engine optimisation and visibility in Google searches.
It will enable agents to upload customer booking information to the feedback provider, with Feefo contacting customers upon their return, prompting them for their honest feedback for future customers to refer to when considering a booking.
Global Travel Group managing director Andy Stark said: “This new partnership with Feefo gives The Global Travel Group agents the opportunity to provide more for their customers by offering impartial feedback as well as expert advice from travel specialists.
‘This significant development will in turn raise standards across the travel industry, highlighting the benefits of booking with agents and the services that only they can provide.”
Global agents are being offered exclusive rates for the new service, including free sign up for those joining before July 31.
