Strong winds disrupting flights

A warning of flight delays due to strong winds at Heathrow and Amsterdam Schiphol airport was made this morning by Eurocontrol.

Flights were also being disrupted at Leeds Bradford airport due to adverse weather conditions.

A number of Aer Lingus flights from Dublin to Gatwick and Birmingham have been cancelled. Bad weather was also affecting transatlantic services to and from Chicago to Heathrow.
