BTI UK has completed the restructure of its account management team to allow the company to offer a better service to its clients.
All account managers have been renamed business managers and have undergone training on technology systems, communication skills, business management and negotiation.
Sales and marketing director Chris Fry said:"We have changed our account managers to become business managers.
"Their job is to have a business plan in place and to be proactive in helping clients. Account management of old used to be relationship management.This is now changing and our business managers are planning ahead as opposed to dealing with what is in the past."
As part of the restructure, seven new business managers have joined the team, taking the total number to 30.
The team is headed by UK account management director Jane Poole.
The business managers have now been brought together in key locations, with one team in London, one in Chertsey servicing accounts outside of London, and two more teams in Coventry and Manchester.
