Your article on the CAA’s forthcoming hearing on Cape Town suggested that it is Virgin Atlantic’s view that we should win because its ‘our turn’.
Although we certainly think it’s about time we won a Cape Town hearing, we don’t believe new services should be awarded on whose turn it is. The CAA makes its decision on whose proposal is in the best interests of passengers and is on the basis that we at Virgin are confident that we should win on Cape Town.
