Hotel puts a spell on romantic living

SOME hotels go out of their way to provide all creature comforts for their guests, but Backchat was thrilled at the lengths the Westin Banyan Tree Hotel was prepared to go to.

While scouring the inventory on Galileo’s global distribution system, Backchat found that as well as all the usual home comforts, the hotel provides a ‘separate loving area’.

Well, the hotel is in Bangkok after all.

Intrigued, Backchat was keen to find out more, but soon came to the sad realisation that the description was actually a spelling mistake and not a romantic opportunity.

It should have read ‘separate living area’. So much for romance.
