UK independent chain Menzies Hotels is to spend £7 million redeveloping a number of its 13 properties.
The group has created a new brand identity and logo together with a new-look website and redesigned brochures.
Refurbishment includes £2.2 million work to the flagship Menzies Welcombe Hotel, Spa & Golf Club in Stratford-upon-Avon, £1.1 million at two Bournemouth properties as well as improvements to bedrooms at Menzies Prince Regent in Chigwell and Menzies Cambridge.
The group has unveiled a new breakfast menu, developed following a review of its current offering and feedback from guests.
Group chairman Niall Geoghegan said: “Menzies Hotels aims to be one of the UK’s leading hotel brands, offering an experience that is so consistently good, relaxing and friendly that it feels like home.
“Our new messaging ‘You’re in a good place’ is a really important phrase in delivering this and will sit right at the heart of everything we stand for and in every communication with guests, no matter how big or small.”
