A prize a day for 80 days is being given away to agents in a promotion from Complete Cruise Solution to push the sales of world cruises.
The incentive runs from September 3, offering prizes worth more than £7,000 including a helicopter sightseeing tour of London, driving a Ferrari or Lamborghini, a spa weekend and a visit to Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant at Claridge’s.
Agents need to book a P&O Cruises 2013 or 2014 world cruise, a Cunard 2013 or 2014 World Voyage or a Princess Cruises 2013 and 2014 Worldwide Exotics sailing and answer a daily destination question on the CCS website, www.completecruisesolution.com.
P&O Cruises is to run three world cruises for 2014, collectively visiting 81 destinations in 41 countries, covering 97,834 nautical miles. They go on sale on September 4.
Arcadia and Aurora are both sailing full world circumnavigations while small ship Adonia is cruising in Asia on a 112-night itinerary. All depart from Southampton in January 2014.
Seven new ports of call feature in the world cruise programme, including Hoi An in Vietnam, Puerto Princesa in the Philippines and Yangon in Burma.
Arcadia’s 92-night cruise is shorter than many other full world circumnavigations and carries a lead in of £7,899.
Arcadia is being revamped with new soft furnishings and carpets in public rooms, bars, cabins and restaurants, including the Ocean Grill by Marco Pierre White. The Globe show lounge will be renovated, sound equipment in the Palladium theatre will be upgraded and 10 new single cabins are being added.
Cunard flagship Queen Mary 2 marks the start of its tenth anniversary season with a 119-night sailing which includes a circumnavigation of Australia. Prices start at £11,999.
Dining and hotel gratuities are being included in Cunard’s three world voyages, providing a claimed savings of up £2,000 per couple.
