The team at Lux Resorts abandoned the office last week in favour of dressing up and riding a rickshaw around London.
With London more than a little excited by the Olympics sales and marketing manager Jane O’Shea and her team donned Team GB outfits and delivered 200 cupcakes to 200 agents across the capital in 36 different agencies.
O’Shea said: “It was a bit of fun and we were greeted by shouts and a lot of energy. I don’t think the agents are used to seeing people dressed up turning up on a rickshaw.
“On Oxford Street the tourists thought we were actually part of Team GB.
“It’s important to keep coming up with unique ways of interacting with agents and we are already coming up with our next plan.”
Lux Resorts has launched an incentive that runs until the end of October that gives agents 5 nights for themselves for every 45 nights they book.
As an extra sales initiative the Indian Ocean hotelier is also offering one all inclusive 7 night stay for 2 people in a LUX* Belle Mare Villa as well as one night on the exclusive private island of Ile Des Deux Cocos, for the best sales performer.
