Dates for the second annual ACE River Cruise Expo have been confirmed for Amsterdam on November 18 to 19.
Agents will visit ships operated by eWaterways, The River Cruise Line and Uniworld, with further vessels to be announced.
The Expo will focus on providing practical advice ensuring agents are best placed to take advantage of the growing interest in river cruise holidays and will include a conference, trade fair and networking opportunities.
ACE director Andy Harmer said: “More travel agents than ever before are showing interest in river cruising and the Expo is a unique opportunity for them to not only visit a number of ships in one day, but also to hear from key speakers on industry developments.
“Latest figures show that European river cruising in particular is on the up together with the Russian waterways, Asia and China so there are real opportunities to grow cruises sales.”
He added: “We had an overwhelming response to last year’s event with more than 250 delegates.
“This year we are specifically inviting those agents who have little or no knowledge of river cruising to join us in Amsterdam where they will see first hand a variety of river ships and find out what’s happening in the sector.”
