DISTANT Dreams has added Vietnam to its expanded programme for 2000 following strong sales for the Far East since the company's launch last December.
The operator is offering a seven-night escorted tour of Vietnam taking in the highlights including Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Danang and Hanoi. It costs from £1,099, and extensions are available to Phuket or Bangkok.
Distant Dreams product manager Christina Hunter said: "As well as expanding in established destinations we wanted to offer our clients something new. Vietnam is still slightly adventurous and off-the-beaten track."
Also new are five-night and seven-night cruises of the Far East, one from Bangkok on the Superstar Europe and the other from Singapore on Superstar Gemini.
An eight-night package combining Bangkok with a five-night cruise costs from £1,289, while a 10-night package of three nights in Singapore and a seven-night cruise starts at £1,229.
As part of its attempts to strengthen its trade relationship, the operator is also running a monthly competition for agents and it is offering a bottle of wine to those who have its brochure on display during spot checks.
Clients who book before November 30 are being guaranteed free admission to a VIP lounge at UK departure airports.
