Former Abercrombie & Kent managing director Justin Wateridge has been named as the new boss of specialist operator Steppes Travel.
He joins after four years at Abercrombie & Kent and almost 20 years in the travel industry.
Steppes Travel chairman Nick Laing said: "Justin has proved to be an excellent leader and we are looking forward to him adding to, and developing, our team.
“He will bring negotiation skills and a wealth of valuable experience and I am sure that he will be invaluable in building on the innovative heritage of Steppes Travel by growing the team, expanding into new markets, developing new initiatives and communicating the key strengths of Steppes."
