Registrations open for 2012 Abta travel convention

Discounted registrations for the 2012 Abta Travel Convention in Turkey are available from today for members and travel industry partners.

The early bird registration rate of £335 is available until July 1 and represents a saving of up to £120 for the first convention to be staged at an all-inclusive resort.

The event takes place in Belek in the Antalya province of Turkey on October 10-12. Accommodation at the five star all-inclusive Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort & Spa is available to book now starting at £87.50 a day per person sharing a room plus a £15 booking fee.

Booking information for the Susesi Luxury Resort will be available shortly, Abta said.

Accommodation will be available only through the Cosmos, the convention's official accommodation provider, with rates starting at £125 per night for single occupancy and £175 for double occupancy. Flights are available through seven airlines to Antalya. Abta is advising delegates to book their flights early to obtain the best rates and times.

Mark Tanzer, chief executive of Abta, said: “We are always encouraging our customers to book early to obtain the best deals and I would strongly encourage delegates for the Travel Convention to do the same.

“Cosmos Holidays has obtained some exceptional rates at the two five-star all inclusive convention hotels, which will provide spectacular services and exceptional value for money.”
