Hotel, art gallery and recording studio Eden Rock St Barths has added another string to its bow by persuading three michelin star chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten to join as executive chef.
Vongerichten will be responsible for the hotel’s two restaurants; Sand Bar and On the Rocks.
The menu at the barefoot restaurant Sand Bar includes exotic salads, whole-wheat pizzas with black truffle and fontina cheese and grilled local fish.
And the evening restaurant On The Rocks is set on a stage and surrounded by water. The kitchen is open, dining is on three levels and it has views over St. Jean Bay.
This menu includes local lobster with toasted garlic drawn butter; basil, lemon, and Thai coleslaw; sea scallops, ponzu sauce and noodles; and beef tenderloin with soy miso butter and carrots.
And meals or cocktails are accompanied by the sounds of DJ Florent.
Vongerichten, has restaurants across the globe including Jean Georges in New York and the Spice Market in London.
A five night Fabulous Feasts stay costs from €3025 per room and includes breakfast and five beachside lunches or sunset dinners or a combination of the two (drinks not included).
Airport transfers, welcome drinks and a car to explore the island are also included.
Based on two sharing and valid from 1st May to 31st July 2012, flights not included.
