G Adventures adds seven tours to European range

G Adventures has added seven new active and sailing trips in Europe for 2021, just a few weeks after launching its range of British and European holidays.

The operator’s European collection now features 16 tours, with the first departures scheduled for March.

The tours will include just one or two accommodation options to minimise the times that travellers need to unpack throughout the trip.

Stu Darnley, national sales manager at G Adventures, said: “The response from agents to the first set of tours has been incredibly positive, with destinations such as Crete and the Canary Islands selling particularly well.

“The addition of these seven new tours will further enhance our offering in Europe, allowing us to cover a more diverse range of destinations.

“Many agents know these destinations inside out and it’s refreshing for them to have a product that provides something a little different to what their customers expect.

“The current UK lockdown is only enhancing pent-up demand, but means travellers are now looking past February for their next trip.

“With hiking weather being favourable in these pre-season months in certain destinations, we’re expecting to see a pick-up in our early departures from those who are keen to travel as soon as they can.”

The new Europe tours include a six-day Hiking in Madeira holiday (pictured), exploring the island’s famous ‘levada’ trails and mountainous terrain. It costs from £577. Another hiking holiday is offered in Northern Cyprus, costing £509 for seven days.

Sailing the Canary Islands is a week-long holiday from £764 while the five-day Walking Piedmont and the Barolo Wine Region is also £764.

Other new tours are in Iceland, Sicily, Slovenia and Northern Greece.

The discounted prices are available for bookings made before January 31. They do not include flights.
