Santa’s Lapland puts 2022 on sale early as sell-out predicted for next winter

Santa’s Lapland has put winter 2022 trips on sale early after warning that next winter is selling out.

The Hotelplan festive holiday specialist started sales for 2022 after its 2021 programme began selling so rapidly that the visit Santa in Lapland experience quickly had limited availability for next Christmas.

Santa’s Lapland chief executive Joe Ponte said: “Christmas 2020 was disappointing for many, so parents are thinking about what they can do to make-up for it and make Christmas really special this year, and next year.

“As families have looked to secure that Christmas magic, new Santa’s Lapland bookings for 2021 have poured in.

“Combined with the high numbers of people who chose to rebook for 2021 after their 2020 trips were suspended, we’ve seen great numbers filling our 2021 programme.

“So much so, that we are now 70% booked for Christmas 2021 and now need to offer our customers the chance to book Santa’s Lapland holidays in 2022.”

He added: “With children growing up fast, there is a small window for many families to get the most out of visiting Santa, and understandably parents are keen for their children not to miss out.

“We’re doing what we can to accommodate that. Including increasing the number of departure dates we’re offering and putting our 2022 programme on sale early.”

Trips to above the Arctic Circle for 2022 are currently available with departures from November 25 to December 24, with deposits of £150 per person. Departures are from 14 regional airports, including the return of East Midlands for 2022.

Prices lead-in at £3,197 per family, based on two adults and two children under 5 staying for three nights half-board flying from Gatwick on November 28, 2022.
