Carnival Cruise Lines has appointed Iain Baillie as its new UK head of sales.
Baillie, who is currently senior sales manager for Carnival UK's sales arm Complete Cruise Solution, takes up his new role on March 1. Both Carnival UK and Carnival Cruises Lines are owned by Miami-based Carnival Corporation.
Based at Carnival Cruise Lines' London offices, Baillie will report to UK managing director Adolfo Perez.
In his new role, Baillie will be responsible for overseeing the company's sales, distribution and trade strategies in the UK and Ireland.
Perez said: "Iain's proven track record of success and leadership skills will help achieve our goal of building greater awareness and demand for the Carnival Cruise Lines brand in the UK and Ireland."
Baillie joined CCS - the sales arm for P&O Cruises, Cunard and Princess Cruises - in 2002 as senior sales manager for the east region. He has previously worked for Inspirations, Unijet, and First Choice.
