On the Beach claims to be the first online travel agency to provide resort-based representatives for holidaymakers from this summer.
The company has signed deals with local ground handlers to act as its in-resort staff.
In-resort representation will be available in its most popular destinations including Spain, Greece and Turkey.
All reps will wear On the Beach branded T-shirts so they can be easily identified by customers to provide 24/7 support in resorts from April 1.
The reps will also run optional welcome meetings, tours and excursion advice and bookings and provide a local emergency telephone number.
Marketing director Alistair Daly said: “Once again, our customers have spoken and we as a business have listened.
“In-resort support is something usually related to package holidays but we feel customers’ who choose a flight and hotel booking should be offered the same customer service. We believe this will prove to be a great success and will be well received by our customers.”
