Sales have opened for MSC Cruises’ 2023 world voyage after next year’s circumnavigation was cancelled.
The 119-day journey will see MSC Poesia travel to 53 destinations in 33 countries across six continents, with a focus on Asia.
The cruise departs from Genoa on January 5, 2023 on the 30,000 nautical mile journey that will eventually cross 24 separate time zones.
The company previously announced the cancellation of the 2021 world cruise due to the continued closure of the majority of ports along the itinerary due to the Covid pandemic.
Passengers who were booked to sail on next year’s voyage can take the same itinerary in 2023 or opt to take a 2022 world cruise.
The 2023 sailing includes seven extended overnight stays including Sydney.
