Kate Harris, owner of Inspired Travel in Burbage, Leicestershire, has called for urgent government support during a message on a Midlands radio station.
The story of her struggle during the Covid-19 crisis hit the national newspaper headlines last week after her emotional appearance on a Travel Weekly webcast.
Harris had wept as she described the devastating impact of the pandemic on her business and how it had left her applying for jobs stacking shelves.
She was featured in the Mail Online and the Mirror last week and now she has recorded a message for the government which was broadcast by Capital FM in the Midlands.
“Our travel industry has been decimated by Covid,” she said in the video message.
