Debbie Flynn appointed global travel practice leader for Finn Partners

Debbie Flynn has been appointed global travel practice leader at marketing and communications agency Finn Partners, after holding the role on an interim basis since late 2019.

Flynn is the founder of Brighter Group, which was acquired by Finn in 2018. As global travel practice leader, she will spearhead travel activity across the group’s offices in the US, Asia and Europe, and will continue to expand the agency’s Global Travel Recovery Network.

She initially took on the role on an interim basis, after founding managing partner Gail Moaney stepped down for health reasons, and will continue to work alongside managing partners Virginia Sheridan, who leads the New York travel practice, and Cathy Chon, who oversees Hong Kong and Shanghai.

Peter Finn, founding partner, said: “Debbie is Finn’s first global practice leader based outside of the US, underscoring our international reach and commitment to travel across three continents.

“Debbie’s leadership, highly regarded position as a travel counsellor and advisor, and extensive international network, will be instrumental in helping travel and tourism brands build a successful and sustainable roadmap as we move out of Covid-19.”
