Ski specialist operator Harris Holidays has ceased trading and entered administration.
The Southampton-based company traded under the names Mountainweekends.com, Ski Weekends, Skiweekends.com, SkiWeeks.co.uk, snow-academy.com.
It operated the websites international-academy.com, mountainweekends.com, Skiweekends.com, and Skiweeks.com.
At the Civil Aviation Authority’s November 2019 renewals, Harris Holidays held an Atol licence to carry 5,000 passengers a year.
Abta said: “We are sorry to inform you that Harris Holidays Ltd trading as Ski Weekends was placed into administration on August 4, 2020.
“The information below sets out specific advice for customers to follow depending on what holiday and travel arrangements you have booked.
“The majority of holidays sold by Harris Holidays Limited were flight inclusive packages and these were protected by the CAA’s [Civil Aviation Authority’s] Atol scheme.
“Harris Holidays also sold a small number of holidays which did not include flights which are protected by Financial Failure Insurance arranged through Towergate Chapman Stevens.”
The Civil Aviation Authority said: “We are currently collating information from the company and will update this page as soon as possible.
“A specific claim form will be published shortly. Please do not use claim forms from other failures as these cannot be accepted.”
