Travel Weekly has launched an enhanced mobile site to serve the growing demand for news on the move.
The mobile site is quick and easy to access, with no need to register or log in, so you can keep up to date with all the latest travel industry news from your mobile.
A growing number of Travel Weekly readers are already using their mobiles to access the site. Total mobile page views for travelweekly.co.uk have increased 138% from January to July 2011.
The number of people accessing travelweekly.co.uk via BlackBerry handsets increased by 151% over the same period.
The launch follows the success of our daily morning news alert TWbusiness:am, which has become a vital tool for senior travel professionals.
Our iPhone app, introduced in February, has attracted 1,295 downloads.
Editor-in-chief Lucy Huxley said: “As Travel Weekly continues to lead the way with the industry’s breaking news, it has become increasingly essential that we deliver the news to readers wherever and whenever they want it.
“In the last six months, we have launched apps, revitalised traditional email, and reached 30,000 Twitter followers, and now our enhanced mobile platform is another significant step forward.”
