Palladium to offer guests Covid-19 insurance

Palladium Hotel Group will offer its guests free health care at its properties in Spain as it looks to reassure travellers worried about contracting Covid-19.

From the end of June, guests staying at Grand Palladium Palace Ibiza Resort & Spa, Agroturismo Sa Talaia, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, Bless Hotel Ibiza, Palladium Hotel Costa del Sol (pictured) and Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife will be insured for any incident directly related to Covid-19 that may appear during their stay.

It is in addition to Palladium’s recently-released Covid-19 health and safety protocols, in place from its first reopenings today (June 26).

Sergio Zertuche, chief sales and marketing officer at Palladium Hotel Group, said: “Our highest priority as a hotel group has always been to take care of our customers. The current situation that the world is going through has made us all adapt to a new reality. With this new insurance product, we hope that our customers will continue to put their trust in Palladium Hotel Group and are reassured and confident in choosing us for their holidays”.

The hotel group will offer the insurance to all guests including those booked through tour operators and travel agents.

Risk management company Materh has advised Palladium to contract a policy designed by InterMundial with the support of Europ Assistance.
